Description & Requirements

We are seeking to recruit dynamic and highly motivated individuals to join our commercial team for our Building projects in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

Management and mentoring of members of the contractor’s quantity surveying team;
Review of contract documentations and identification variations;
Valuation and agreement of variations values;
Preparation and agreement of interim payment applications;
Preparation of subcontract procurement enquiry documentation, analysis of tender returns and tender recommendation reports;
Subcontract commercial administration, from award of subcontracts through to agreement of subcontract final accounts;
Conduct cost analysis, budgeting control, measurement and collation of records at our construction sites;
Preparation of claims documentation and handling of all claims related issues.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction preferably with MRICS or HKIS professional qualification;
At least 15 years' relevant experience preferably in contractors;
At least 3 years’ in a supervisory experience, with a proven track record of independently managing a team of quantity surveyors;
Experience with Design and Build contract experience is highly desirable;
Guaranteed Maximum Price contract experience is advantageous;
Strong commercial and contractual acumen;
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
